The Numbers

We're tracking 1,478 open AI/ML roles today. The geographic split is lopsided toward Europe, which holds 761 listings (52%). The US follows with 451 (31%), and India accounts for 254 (17%). Everywhere else is a rounding error right now: just 7 roles across the rest of the world and 5 in the UAE.

Who's Hiring

One employer dominates: Bespoke Labs alone posted 113 roles, mostly machine learning engineering positions. After that the field flattens out fast. Capital One (37) is staffing up on ML engineering, while education provider IU Internationale Hochschule (35, plus 17 more under its GmbH entity) is recruiting heavily — including degree-program and dual-study openings rather than pure engineering.

The rest of the leaderboard is a mix of consultancies and defense-adjacent firms: Tata Consultancy Services (25), mental-health platform SonderMind (21), Lieferando (20), Reply Deutschland (17), Booz Allen Hamilton (17), Mindrift (16), Amazon (15), and Lockheed Martin (13).

Role Types

Three clusters stand out. Machine Learning Engineer is the workhorse title, from Bespoke Labs and Capital One to Quantalent AI. Generative AI specialists are the fastest-growing niche — AI architects, AI solutions engineers, GenAI integration roles, and "AI adoption" positions appear across SAP, N26, Elsevier, and AWE Plc.

A distinct US public-sector track runs through the data: multiple roles at Koniag Government Services, CACI, Lockheed Martin, and Booz Allen require security clearance. Note also that not every "AI" listing is technical — graphic designers, content managers, and even a licensed therapist surface in the feed, so filter carefully.

Takeaway

If you're an ML engineer, the volume is real but concentrated. Europe is where the breadth is; the US rewards clearance-holders; India skews toward services firms like TCS.
