Where the Jobs Are

Europe dominates with 948 roles (~49%), nearly half the market. The US follows at 616 (~32%), and India holds a strong third at 343 (~18%). The rest of the world is thin: just 16 roles across other regions and 6 in the UAE. If you're location-flexible, Europe and the US are where the volume is — but India's share signals serious GenAI buildout at global delivery shops.

Who's Hiring

Bespoke Labs is the standout, posting 151 roles — mostly Machine Learning Engineer openings in the US, by far the largest single-employer demand on the board. Capital One (65) anchors enterprise/fintech ML hiring. Education player IU Internationale Hochschule (35, plus 17 more under its GmbH entity) and mental-health platform SonderMind (31) round out the top tier.

Consulting and IT services are hiring hard: Tata Consultancy Services (26), Reply Deutschland SE (20), and defense/government contractors Booz Allen Hamilton (18) and Lockheed Martin (15). Food-delivery firm Lieferando (20) and AI-training marketplace Mindrift (17) also feature.

What They Want

The role mix is concrete. Machine Learning Engineer and Generative AI Engineer are the most common titles, often interchangeably. Expect heavy demand for:

  • GenAI / agentic AI builders — automation tools, LLM applications, AI business solutions
  • Solutions & solution architects — NVIDIA is recruiting for computer vision and physical-AI architecture across Europe
  • Data scientists and data engineers — including knowledge-graph and RDF work at SAP, plus pharma analytics at IQVIA
  • Quality & evaluation roles — model eval is now its own job (e.g., iMerit's GenAI Evaluation Manager)

German-market postings (the recurring m/w/d tag) are notably frequent, reinforcing Europe's lead. Junior-friendly listings exist but skew toward engineering fundamentals plus GenAI exposure.
