We're tracking 2,527 open AI/ML roles today. Here's where the demand is, who's hiring, and what they actually want.
Where the jobs are
Europe dominates with 1,174 roles (46%), ahead of the US at 780 (31%) and India at 540 (21%). Everywhere else is thin: just 27 roles across the rest of the world and 6 in the UAE. If you're flexible on geography, Europe is where the volume is — and a notable share are German-language listings (look for (m/w/d) and all genders tags) plus dual-study and apprenticeship tracks via IU Internationale Hochschule and National Skills Agency.
Who's hiring most
Bespoke Labs leads by a wide margin with 176 openings, mostly US-based Machine Learning Engineer roles — a single employer accounting for ~7% of everything tracked. Behind it: Capital One (72), including Lead and Staff ML Engineer positions, EnthuZiastic (46), IU Internationale Hochschule (35), and Tata Consultancy Services (32). Consultancies and enterprises round out the list: SonderMind (31), Reply Deutschland (30), Jobgether (29), Deloitte (27), and Booz Allen Hamilton (25).
What they're hiring for
Three role clusters stand out:
- Machine Learning Engineer — the most common title, from junior to Lead/Staff (Bespoke Labs, Capital One, ParshipMeet, Soors).
- AI Engineer / Platform & Infra — Generative AI builders, AI Platform/DevOps, and ML Infra Engineers (Google Cloud, Amazon, Fission Labs).
- AI strategy & enablement — Adoption Managers, Enablement Leads, AI Strategists, and consulting roles (Deloitte, adesso, Eurofins), reflecting demand for people who deploy AI inside organizations, not just build models.
Data Scientist and Data Analyst roles remain steady, and a growing fringe of AI content/creative gigs (Graphic Designer & AI Content Creator, AI image generation) is appearing alongside core engineering.
