We're tracking 3,891 open AI/ML roles right now. The market skews heavily engineering: machine learning engineers, senior/lead ML engineers, data scientists, and — increasingly — generative AI and enterprise-architecture roles built specifically around LLMs and automation.
Where the Jobs Are
Europe dominates with 1,922 roles (49%), nearly half of everything tracked. The US follows at 1,134 (29%) and India at 793 (20%). Together those three regions hold 99% of listings. The rest of the world (32) and the UAE (10) are rounding errors for now — if you're hunting outside Europe, the US, or India, expect thin pickings.
European postings also lean multilingual and public-sector: think German-language GenAI engineering roles (m/w/d), a French Ingénieur Machine Learning at the Ministère des Armées, and bilingual AI data roles at Amazon.
Who's Hiring Most
Bespoke Labs leads by volume with 184 openings, well ahead of the pack. Capital One (136) is the standout enterprise employer, posting senior, lead, and even "Sr. Distinguished" ML engineer titles — a sign of deep, multi-level investment. Rounding out the top tier: Reply Deutschland (48), Jobgether (47), EnthuZiastic (46), then SonderMind and Booz Allen Hamilton (38 each), Deloitte (36), IU Internationale Hochschule (35), and Tata Consultancy Services (34). Google (26) and Lieferando (30) also make the list.
Note the mix: it's not just Big Tech. Consultancies (Deloitte, Booz Allen, TCS), health-tech (SonderMind, Cohere Health), defense (Anduril, Sanderson Government and Defence), and education (IU, EnthuZiastic) are all actively staffing AI teams.
Role Types to Target
The most common titles are Machine Learning Engineer and its senior/lead variants, plus Data Scientist. The fastest-growing category is Generative AI: GenAI integration engineers, fullstack GenAI roles, AI solutions architects, and AI strategists. Forward-deployed and enterprise-architecture titles (Databricks, Alltech) signal demand for people who ship AI into production, not just prototype it.
