We're tracking 4,476 open AI/ML roles today. Here's where the demand is concentrated and who's hiring.

Where the Jobs Are

Europe dominates with 2,186 roles (49%), nearly half the market. The US follows at 1,363 (30%) and India at 878 (20%). Everything else is a rounding error: the rest of world holds just 39 roles and the UAE only 10. If you're job-hunting, Europe and the US are where the volume is — but India's 20% share makes it a serious third pillar, not an afterthought.

Who's Hiring

Bespoke Labs leads the pack with 184 openings, followed by Capital One (159) — a reminder that big finance is now a major ML employer. The rest of the top tier is notably diverse: Reply Deutschland (58) and IU Internationale Hochschule (35) anchor Europe; General Motors (56) and SonderMind (38) show automotive and healthtech demand in the US; consultancies are everywhere, with Booz Allen Hamilton (44), Deloitte (37), Tata Consultancy Services (34), and BC Forward (34) all staffing up. Aggregator Jobgether (52) and edtech EnthuZiastic (52) round out the leaders.

The Roles

Three patterns stand out:

  • Generative AI is now default. Titles like Generative AI Data Engineer, Tech Lead – GenAI Delivery, Agentic AI Platform Product Owner, and Senior Python Developer with Generative AI dominate the listings.
  • Core ML engineering still pays. Look for Senior/Lead Machine Learning Engineer roles at Capital One, FactoryPal, and Instacart (PhD intern), plus quant ML at startups.
  • AI is bleeding into non-technical jobs. AI SEO Manager, AI-Powered Content Marketing Manager, AI Trainer (freelance notary), and AI Tools Engineer signal that "AI-adjacent" roles are multiplying beyond pure engineering.

US government-adjacent work is also strong — several Security Clearance data science and operations-research roles at Steampunk and Peraton.
