According to Tom's Hardware and MSN, Ukraine deployed 10 fully autonomous quadcopter drones against Russian forces with what the developers called "Terminator Mode" engaged. A senior Ukrainian defense industry figure confirmed the operation, saying the strike left "everything dead." It marks what multiple outlets are calling the first verified autonomous killings of humans by AI weapons systems.

That was just ten drones. Footage circulating online, highlighted by MSN, shows swarms of more than 500 AI-controlled drones coordinating simultaneous battlefield attacks — described by observers as "pure chaos." The drones communicate and maneuver together at speeds no human operator could match.

Meanwhile, according to the Colorado Springs Gazette, the U.S. Navy recently deployed an autonomous Corsair sea drone to locate and rescue two soldiers — a demonstration that the same technology is already being used for non-lethal military missions as well.
