Nvidia is expanding its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service, adding features that let members connect to their existing game libraries and play across a wide range of devices.

According to the Nvidia Blog, the update lets members play their favorite titles from popular game stores, keep their progress synced, and jump back into gaming sessions on "virtually any device." Cloud gaming works by running games on Nvidia's remote servers and streaming the video to a player's screen, which means demanding titles can run on hardware that couldn't otherwise handle them.

Nvidia also says it is offering some of the season's best membership pricing alongside the rollout.

The service's game catalog continues to grow as well. According to Neowin, GeForce NOW has gained support for seven more games, with discounts continuing during the promotion.

The common thread across these updates is convenience and reach: rather than tying players to a single console or a powerful gaming PC, GeForce NOW aims to let people pick up where they left off on whatever screen is closest at hand, while pulling from libraries they already own.

Why it matters: as gaming shifts toward streaming, features like cross-device library syncing lower the cost and hardware barriers to playing modern titles, potentially reshaping how and where people game.
