Rubin

Rubin is NVIDIA's next-generation data center architecture, the successor to the Blackwell generation in the company's strategic roadmap. The Rubin design emphasizes fully liquid-cooled data centers, representing a shift from traditional air-cooled systems with fans. This approach allows infrastructure to operate at higher temperatures while using liquid cooling to manage heat more effectively, with a key advantage being dramatic reduction in water consumption—a critical concern as AI workloads become increasingly computationally intensive.
